KANYE WEST, 2 CHAINZ & BIG SEAN SHOCK SXSW 2012
Last year Diddy shocked South By Southwest (SXSW) by joining Snoop on stage to pay tribute to Biggie, Tupac and Nate Dogg. This year, Kanye West, Big Sean, 2 Chainz, Machine Gun Kelly and Slaughterhouse shook South By to its core at SOBs Anniversary event. The Belmont (@BelmontAustin), re-opened less than a week, hosted what is sure to be the most discussed event of SXSW 2012. Keep an eye on this venue.

3 THINGS YOU DON’T KNOW ABOUT #SXSW 2012

Today (Friday, March 9th) begins the Interactive and Film Festivals of SXSW and trust me, there will be no lack of viral videos and interaction over the next 9 days. The Music Festival officially begins on March 13th but I can assure you… the music never stops in Austin.

THE EPIC SXSW MOMENT NO ONE IS TALKING ABOUT
When all of the stars align for SXSW, anything can happen… and it usually does. On Saturday, March 19th, I had the privilege of witnessing and documenting one of those epic moments.
Before you ask… no, it was not Jay-Z and Kanye bringing ‘all that power’ to an abandoned power plant. Although, that was brilliant. Wiz Khalifa popping up on stage with Big Sean, Bun B… basically everybody except The Strokes, was a pleasant surprise throughout the festival.
But Diddy, aka Sean Combs aka Puff Daddy, performing a tribute to Tupac, Biggie and Nate Dogg along side Snoop Dogg, Warren G, Daz and Kurupt is MASSIVE. For so many reasons. Read more…
SXSW 2011 RECAP :: ANNOUNCING MAHOGANYDANE TV
SXSW was BEYOND eventful. There were random DJ Premier and Moby sightings and surprise Wiz Khalifa and Jay-Z performances. Even an emotional, impromptu tribute to Nate Dogg, Biggie and Tupac (which I have video of). It would take 3 me’s and 2 lifetimes to experience and share all of what South By had to offer. I have TONS of photos and video’s from the weeks festivities that you must see. So without further adieu…
