Ladies & Gentle Giants :: The moment we’ve all been waiting for has arrived! Yesterday, Austin City Limits announced its 10th Anniversary, 2011 festival line up ::

Stevie Wonder, Kanye West, Arcade Fire, Coldplay, Cee-Lo, Santigold, Empire of the Sun, Cut Copy and Chromeo are just a few of the performers who will grace the ACL Fest stage, September 16-18th in Zilker Park.

As expected, the festival lineup is receiving a mixed response. Those who were unable to con their way into seeing Kan play at the power plant during SXSW are excited that they have another chance to experience G.O.O.D. Music in Austin. In the other corner are diehard Taylor Swift-lovin’ Texans who think it is un-American to allow such a villain to perform in the Lone Star state capital.

One thing is for sure, everyone is excited to see the living legend Stevie Wonder. It is also refreshing that artists you don’t hear on the radio constantly are performing like Aloe Blacc, Bomba Estereo, Wanda Jackson, Foster the People and Theophilus London. Overall, the 2011 lineup is diverse and a vast improvement from years past.

ACL is one of the few festivals that can sell out 3-day passes to the tune of $185 each even before the lineup is announced. And at this moment, $90 Single Day Passes for Sunday are all that are left. Get yours HERE… or peruse Craigslist between now and September. I’m sure many tix will pop up.

Check out the best moment of ACL 2010 that I recorded. Yes, I dropped the camera halfway through the video. You would too if Wayne Coyne was walking on you. Bottom line… book your flight now… DON’T MISS ACL!
