This morning has been spent glued to the news getting updates on the apocalyptic earthquake that hit Japan and the tsunami that followed. The images immediately brought back memories of the devastating tsunami that swept the Indian Ocean in 2004 and took nearly 300,000 lives. Relief concerts were staged around the world raising money to help the victims. I am confident that the world will band together again to help all who have been affected by this tragedy.

The Red Cross has already launched relief efforts in Japan. Visit Redcross.org or text REDCROSS to 90999 to donate $10 from your phone.

At times like this, music has a way of bringing us solace and a little peace. As we ease into our weekend, let’s remember to let love rule.
